The Canada Pacific Russia Trade Centre (CPRTC) is a Vancouver based, not for profit, organization whose main purpose is to promote trade, economic and inter-governmental ties between Canada and Russia.

The CPRTC seeks to do its part to enable Russian and Canadian business people to better understand each other, so that they may cooperate on a mutually beneficial basis. It also helps observe Russian political and business climate by providing exclusive information in these regards at the weekly newsletter of the CPRTC - Pacific Russia News.

Established in 1994, the CPRTC has grown from the original few founding members of the Vancouver Vladivostok Trade Centre to an influential association of some 50 member firms active in the fishing, food, forestry, mining, and many other sectors.

The CPRTC actively lobbies for one of its primary objectives, that is the establishment of Canadian diplomatic representation in Vladivostok or Khabarovsk City capable of issuing visas to Russian business partners, as well as offering support to Canadian business visitors.

Since 2008 CPRTC established it’s first ties in the Urals Federal District – heart of Russian oil, gas and metallurgical sectors – by helping Canadian companies to get introduced at that market.

Fifteen years of international experience, strong connections with Canadian and Russian businesses and officials and great information resources make CPRTC success in fulfilment of its mission.
